2. – 7. März 2021

Wir segelten mit einem Schlag dahin, etwa 50 Meilen. Es war frisch und der Wind pfiff ganz ordentlich. Die TRELAX trug uns sicher und direkt in die Bucht vor Ortigia, dem Altstadt-Teil von Siracusa. Wunderbar, die Buch war ruhig und wir waren 3 Boote, die da ankerten. Die Nacht war entspannt und am nächsten Tag beschlossen wir am vormittags mit dem Dinghy loszufahren und die Stadt zu besichtigen. Die E-Scooter packten wir ins Beiboot und auf ging’s. Und wirklich, es lohnte sich. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag mit gutem Essen, und wunderschönen optischen Eindrücken.

Zurück am Boot traf uns fast der Schlag, als wir bemekrten dass uns der Ätna eingeäschert hat. Mit schwarzem Film aus hauchfeinem Ätna-Asche-Sand war die TRELAX zugedeckt. Na bravo. Selbst mit dem Staubsauger wurde ich der Sache nicht Herr. Da blieb nur eins, wieder abhauen. und weiter gehts….

Eine nicht ungefährliche Hafeneinfahrt bei einer Wassertiefe von max 2.5 Metern, ein Wind von knapp 20 Knoten machten uns ein Anlegemanöver nicht einfach. Dennoch hat es Egon wieder einmal mehr super gemeistert und uns sicher „geparkt“. 3 Nächte hielten wir uns in dieser Marina auf, nicht alleine deshalb um unser Floatinghome wieder auf Vordermann zu bringen und vom Ätna zu befreien – und das war ganz schön viel Arbeit.

Am darauffolgenden Tag schnappten wir uns wieder einmal mehr unserer e-scooter und besichtigten die Stadt. Tja, im den Hafencafes und -Restaurants war der Bär los , im Dorf leider nicht. Und ganz ehrlich, sehr teuer. Wir legten wieder den Retourgang ein und fuhren zurück. Egon ging noch zu dem Friseur im Hafen, chillten noch ein wenig und machten uns bereit, am nächsten Tag nach Licata zu segeln. Bekannte besuchen.

Peter und Kathrin haben uns im Hafen von Licata einen Liegeplatz reserviert. Wir freuten uns auf die „Florentines“, die uns auch sehr herzlich empfingen. Leider war an diesem Tag mein „Nulltag“ und ich musste Katrins liebevoll zubereiteter Snacks widerstehen. Egons Magen war beleidigt und so musste Peter sich für uns alle erbarmen. Wir genossen einen unterhaltsamen und gemütlichen Abend an Bord der Florentine und fielen im Anschluss direkt und sehr müde in unser Bett. Wir wollen am Sonntag später Nachmittag weiterfahren.
